In what is an unbelievable upset, Shawn and Mark won Dancing With The Stars tonight. It was awesome. She definitely stepped up her game in the last month and deserved to win. I just love her...not to mention she was my pre-competition favorite. She just continued to amaze me and she is only 17. I am pretty sure I won my Dancing With The Stars pool tonight!
It was a great season of DWTS and I cannot wait until September (or at least for the show...I can do without cold weather).
Speaking of weather...it was 97 here today. Can you believe it? It shattered all sorts of records. It was awesome. It is supposed to be just as warm tomorrow and then only 60 in Thursday. Why can't they just cut the difference and have it be 80 and sunny.

Reagan's New Haircut
Well, I did it. I finally had someone cut Reagan's hair last night. If you know me, then you know that this has been a hard decision for me because I have been living vicariously through little Reagan's hair.
You see...when I was a kid, I was basically bald until I was about age 6 (you would never know that now with my mophead). So to see Reagan with all that long, beautiful hair, it was just so hard for me to cut it knowing how I was teased about not having any hair forever. But, after a stern talking to from Reagan's daycare provider, who was not happy about having to comb through her snarls every day, I took the plunge.
Reagan was so happy after we were done and she couldn't stop flipping her hair this morning when she got to school. She even let me brush her hair and she said "look, no snarls." All-in-all, a good decision and she does look precious. It will be good for summer.

His Eight Seconds Is Over - DWTS Update
Ty's eight seconds is definitely over. Although he was still great last night, he just is not a very good dancer and has to go. I think Bruno said it all when he said this contest is about ability and not likeability. Sadly, he is right. I did love his first dance and the ending of his second dance was great - so out of character. I think he knew that was going to be his final ride so he might as well go out on top!
He has been the best surprise this season. He really has improved and come out of his shell a little bit. I have seen him on two reality shows and have loved him on each one. He seems to have no personality, but he is so likeable. Maybe he can be on Celebrity Apprentice next, although I think he would be eaten up by the scoundrels on that show led by The Donald (very disappointed with how he eliminated Brandi and Jesse last week, but that is another story).
I went with Derek and Kim for my pool last night and that did not go so well. They scored really low on the waltz which will not help me. Their other dance was good, but I need both to be good now. Bummer. I think they are going to be the couple gone after next week.
Gilles and Cheryl were hot when they danced to Sexual Healing. That was a total set up. You have the hottest, steamiest couple dancing to Sexual Healing. It was good though and deserved the 10s it received. I wished I could have been Cheryl on that one.
I missed Shawn and Mark's first dance, but the second was really good. She is really surprising me. I think she has a shot of winning. Andrew wants to know though why Nastia (Nasty as he likes to call her) has not come to show her support yet? I thought they were best friends.
Melissa and Tony were amazing. Her Samba was really good. Could she have worn less clothes? Her body is amazing for being just a "normal" person. I like her. Do you think Jason regrets his decision? Let's be honest, she is never going to stay with her insurance agent boyfriend from Texas either. She will upgrade that pretty quick. She is going to be a star.
The next two weeks are going to be really exciting. I have to admit, I was pretty down about the people they were going to have this year on the show, but it has turned out to be great. I think adding Melissa was great for the show since Nancy O'Dell was never going to bring in that kind of talent or popularity. I also have enjoyed Lil Kim and Shawn has been solid.
But there is no doubt that the best part of this season has been Ty and Chelsea. They were great!
