Chaos Lose a Tough Game

Andrew's hockey team lost a tough game last night 4-1. After taking an early 1-0 lead and having a number of chances, the Ice Dogs scored three unanswered goals and an empty netter. The first Ice Dogs' goal was an own goal and then the third goal went off the goalie and bounced about three times before trickling in the net.

Andrew had an awesome chance to score, but the goalie made a great save. He was standing all alone out front and elevated the puck to the glove side, but the goalie (who was pretty good and definitely the #1 star of the game) plucked it out of the air. He also made a great centering pass in the first period, but the guy fanned on it. Oh well.

It was fun to see him play and we want to thank Sara, Andy and Stoner for coming to watch. Reagan made it through warm-ups before falling asleep, but a 9:30 p.m. start is a little much for her.

Here are a couple of photos, although not great.

Alana's Little Apples

Reagan's daycare provider, Alana, has started a blog so the parents can keep track of what their kids are doing at her house. I thought everyone would love to see where Reagan spends her days. It must be way better than home because she never wants to leave.

http://alanaslittleapples.blogspot.com/

I am sure most of you are saying, "Lisa let her daughter leave the house with that on?" Just for the record, I did not dress her in this. Give me some credit! :) At least no one can see her looking like this - although now being able to see her on this blog could cause me a heart attack every day.

The older girls like to dress her in these crazy princess costumes, and of course, she loves the dresses and the attention. She is quite the girly-girl much to her dad's chagrin, although as long as she keeps saying her favorite sport is hockey and pumping her fist whenever anyone scores a goal, I think he will be OK.

Reagan's New Friend

I mentioned last week that Reagan got a new friend at school. Well here is a photo of Yogi. Reagan and the new puppy have become fast friends as they play together all day. She immediately goes to pet him when she walks in the door at daycare and Yogi gets the final good bye of the day.

Look At The Assist Leaders!

Well, Andrew's team lost the big game last night 7-5. Bummer, but I guess the Vipers are a bunch of sandbaggers and playing a level below where they are supposed to be playing - or so I am told.

Although it is a team game, Andrew did have two assists last night and now has three on the season. He is tied for second in the league in assists. I think he should hold out now and ask for more money. Or maybe if he ups his HGH cycling then he will climb to #1. Seriously, he is pretty excited about the whole thing.

Here is the complete league leaders list: http://www.ahahockey.com/TCAHA/stats/Beginner.php

p.s. - Some big news with Reagan is they got a new puppy at daycare - a bassett hound named Yogi. I guess Reagan and Yogi have become fast friends. I am sure I will have photos of the two new best friends very soon.

Dancing With The Stars - Season 6

I am so excited as Dancing With The Stars Season 6 is set to start on March 17 (Happy St. Patrick's Day). Yesterday, the contestants were announced and today they paired them with their professional partners. Here is the lineup for Season 6:

Olympic Gold Medal skater Kristi Yamaguchi and Mark Ballas
Actress Priscilla Presley and Louis van Amstel
NFL star Jason Taylor and Edyta Sliwinska
Actor Cristian de la Fuente and Cheryl Burke
R&B singer Mario and Karina Smirnoff
Oscar-Award-winning actress Marlee Matlin and Fabian Sanchez
Illusionist Penn Jillette and Kym Johnson
TV and Radio Personality Adam Carolla and Julianne Hough
Actress Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough
Actress Marissa Jaret Winokur and Tony Dovolani
Former Tennis Champ Monica Seles and Jonathan Roberts
Actor Steve Guttenberg and Anna Trebunskaya

Here is my take on the season. There is no way that Jason Taylor and Edyta will lose. The hottest NFL player out there right now with the woman who wears no clothes. You cannot put together a better match - and if he can dance even a little - he will be there for a long time.

I see they paired Julianne with Adam Carolla. My guess is that Julianne needs to leave the show early this season to promote her new country album - thus her lame partner. He is certainly no Helio.

I think Shannon Elizabeth and Derek Hough will make for an interesting pair. Derek has quite the following from the ladies. If Shannon can shake her thing, then they will go far.

I am curious about Monica Seles. This seems so unlike her to participate in something like this. I think her athletic ability will help and she is in tremendous shape based on a TV interview I saw with her over the weekend. It is good for tennis though and I am all about that.

I am very sad that Maks is not performing this season. He will be on the results show, so I will have to tune in to that.

Overall, I am really disappointed in the cast this season. There are not a lot of names that I am real interested in watching. That is why Jason Taylor better stay on as long as possible.

Let's Play Hockey!

As many of you know, Andrew has started taking adult hockey lessons. Since he was turning 30, he decided it was now or never. They had 10 weeks of lessons and now 10 weeks of games. So far, the Chaos is 2-0 and Andrew has an assist. He is playing right wing and is on the second line.

They take this very seriously as they have complete uniforms that match and a Web site. I am waiting to see if they want me to do a media guide for them (I can never get away from the SID world). If you would like to check out the team, visit http://chaos.homestead.com/

Andrew's next game is Thursday (Feb. 21) at 9:30 p.m. at Breck High School. They are playing the other undefeated team in a showdown for first place. Updates to follow.

Ava, Say Cheese!

Since we are in the heart of a presidential race and it is all about equal time - I wanted to make sure I posted some photos of my niece Ava modeling since I had Oliver up here. She has two photos on neimanmarcus.com in the toddler section. Here they are! So cute!!!!!

My sister better look out though with her swimsuit model daughter. First Neiman's, next up Sports Illustrated!

Valentine's Cookies

Reagan helped me make cookies tonight. She was really into rolling the dough and putting the sugar on them. I think she ate more of the dough than what she rolled. Anyway...it was really fun. Also, you can see she is standing on her potty. No progress there yet. At least, we have a use for it. Also... no passie. It is probably the only photo we have of her in the last 6 months without it.

Say Cheese!

Just in case you haven't heard, my sister's kids are models for Neiman Marcus and Penney's. If you go to your local Penney's in the kids section, you will see her son Oliver in a big poster on the wall.

Giddy Up!

Here are a few photos of Reagan from our trip to Chuck E. Cheese the other night. We couldn't get her off the merry-go-round.

Reagan The Painter

So Reagan has taken up a new pasttime. She loves finger painting. Here is a photo of her hard at work.

Reagan's Big Girl Bed

Well Reagan achieved a big milestone in her life - no she did not give up her passie, her bunny or become potty trained. Instead, we converted her crib into a toddler bed and she became a big girl over night. She was pretty excited about her big girl bed, although she likes jumping on it more than anything.

She has done a pretty good job styaing in it. The first nap she took in it, she fell out and was half on the bed with her knees on the floor. That night, she stayed in it until 3 a.m. The next day she actually fell asleep in it and stayed in it until 4 a.m. Last night, we were not as successful as she only made it until 11 p.m.

She does like it a lot as you can tell by the photos.

Annie Leibowitz She Is Not

Reagan got a hold of my digital camera the other day and these are some selected shots from her collection. The first is Auntie Crystal, followed by daddy, mommy and then Corby - just in case you could not tell that was Corby.
