Reagan decided she wanted a garden this weekend so we went and bought her a little garden. Come to find out "garden" in her vocabulary actually means "watering can." We could have saved ourselves a lot of money if we would have figured out that all she really wanted was the $3 watering can so she could be like "Marcy" (Marcy is her daycare provider).
Anyway... once she got home, she did want to water her garden - every 20 minutes. So I am sure that her garden will be dead from drowning in a few days, but in the meantime, she is pretty cute watering it. Maybe the novelty will wear off and I was able to use her as an excuse to buy some flowers for our patio since Andrew thinks they are a waste of money!
Not much else to report from the weekend. We had our first outdoor swimming day yesterday (are you kidding me - it is June 15?) and it was still freezing when you were not in the water. We also made homemade ice cream for Father's Day that turned out pretty good once we got it to firm up. Andrew played hockey last night to cap off his Father's Day so I think that made him happy - at least until he took a penalty in the final minute of play and the other team scored in overtime to win.
The other big event from the weekend is our neighbor has a rottweiler and it gets pretty excited/out of control whenever Corby and I walk by to go to the park. Well yesterday, the dog got so excited that it jumped on the upper bedroom window at its house and shattered the window trying to get Corby. I have not determined if this dog is mean or not, but I was not about to find out. I ran my out-of-shape #^$&*%( (this is a family blog after all) back to my house so fast. Thankfully Corby is fatter than me so, and he can only go so fast or I would have died right there. The dog never left the house, but he completely shattered the window. Ugh! That dog needs to be gone. I did call the police, but because he did not leave the property, they could not do anything about it. Scary!
Gotta "go, go, go,"
Reagan's mom
